Gotta say, this style of music bring me back to my late childhood. The grind on MTV, and all those cool people dancing to music I could hear nowhere else.
For at least four months, WBLS has had a house/soulful house speciality show, but, now, perhaps in response, WRKS is doing a classic house weekend...which is pretty awesome. Clearly, this new inclusion of arguably the funnest style of music in my lifetime, is a direct result of the highly dance oriented pop playing on NOW, HOT, and POWER bleading up the demo ladder. And that's a good thing, the it makes me nostalgic for an east village I never saw, was to too young to see, and probably wouldn't have gone to even if I could have.
