Isn't it enough that you repeat the same story 25 times over a 3 day period?

Why must you give us the same old "more details" every time? Get rid of the
those details in each newscast and you'll have time to cover one more story!
 
They are #1 by a long shot so as long as that is happening (which likely for a long time to come) then they will continue this habit.
 
In my old news casting days I had a time slot to fill, if it is a "slow" news day, a rehash with a few details saved me many times from news cast with a bunch of "press releases" and fluff stories.
