WSB-TV fined $5,000 by OSHA for live truck accident

http://liveapartmentfire.com/2010/06/14/fined-by-osha/

OSHA has fined WSB-TV $5,000 for last November's accident involving the live truck that ran into high tension power lines outside of the Fulton County Jail with the mast up. This is a negoitated settlement, down from the $7,000 proposed.

As Doug Richards notes in the blog...we won't be hearing about this on any Cox owned TV, radio, or newspaper outlet.

You are kidding me! Only $5k? In the grand scheme of things at Cox, that's like one of us paying a 50 cent fine. And they talked it down on top of that.
