WSB-TV's Jim Strickland almost run over by person being investigated

Someone who was being investigated by WSB-TV's Jim Strickland tried to run over Jim with a pickup truck when the news crew was confronting the assulter about couterfeit handbags being sold at his wife's shop.

That person has been arrested and charged with assult. Jim walked away with no injuries.

I know that Fox 5's I-Team has had a few run-ins with investigative subjects they were confronting...but nothing like this.
 
I'm really surprised this kind of thing hasn't happened more often. I've been told the I-team has had security with them on certain shoots.
