WSIX may not be part of Sirius XM Radio

The rumor has been floating around for the past few days over on XMFan buy a user named "PDGuy" in Nashville, but I guess it was confirmed on the air that WSIX will be dropped from XM Radio between August 1st or 15th. This would actually be the second time.

That one's news to me. I wouldn't be surprised though...sort of. The CC XM channels are programmed right out of Cincinnati.

On the XM satellite board I had heard that the relationship between XM and CC would end. Some were saying the end of June. That has passed.

Sirius is all about saving money and cutbacks, so you will see a lot of XM's channels if not all of them going away.

for the record:
XM 161 is now 'simulcasting" XM 11 "Nashville"
