WTIB-FM is now at 103.7, the new weekday line-up to be in place Friday the 19th.

Now that WTIB has moved to 103.7, on their current website, wtibfm.com, it mentions about a new website coming soon,
and the revised lineup that will be finalized this Friday, they put a question mark of what will air at 12 noon, if you go to
pirateradio1250.com, read the letter to their listeners regarding this change, apparently WTIB's move has been in the
works since December 2009, so now we know that Rush Limbaugh will round out the weekday lineup.
The lineup will consist of...."Talk Of The Town" from 7 till 9am, "Glenn Beck" taking 9am until 12 noon, "Rush Limbaugh"
from Noon to 3, "Sean Hannity" from 3 to 6, Various shows from 6 till 7, "Micheal Savage" 7 to 9pm, "Laura Ingraham"
moves to 9pm till 11pm, and does anyone know what WTIB carries from 11pm until 6am during the week, and whether or
not they will stick to "Sporting News Radio" on the weekends?, this lineup is going to give stations in this market a run for
their money, but don't look for the ratings to reflect this for awhile, although i told another person who posts on this board
two years ago that Inner Banks Media should use 103.7 as a spring board for a "supertalk" format, but then FM talk wasn't
been touted much as it is today, i got half the equasion right, and look for more talk FM's soon nationwide.

I heard an ad tonight that Saturdays at 6pm 103.7 will be airing one of the Dick Bartley oldies shows. I guess they're going to partially use the format they've been using on 94.1 - talk weekdays and music weekends. I do know that not all of Saturday is music; it has been announced that Clark Howard will be on 10a-1p Saturdays.

I'm sure once the new lineup is in place, they will add best of shows on the weekend like Glenn Beck, Rush & Hannity, if they are going to be Talk, they should shift away from music, it almost sounds like the talk outlet in Greensboro who does talk during the week and part of Saturday & Sunday, and Smooth Jazz most of the weekend, i don't think WTIB will go in this direction, but maybe one of the reasons why is people don't want to hear all talk, every day.

They will air Clay McCauley's show along with Charlie Brown's beach show on the weekends like they did(do) on 94.1 Rush starts Friday..That's when the contract ends with 930.....They wanted to start Rush earlier in the month but things didn't work out for that to happen......A strong lineup for sure......

Maybe they are trying to copy the same format WZTK in the Triad has, talk all week, and a mix of talk and music weekends.
