Today 11-23-05 at 3pm WTRY 98.3 went all xmas music and at 3pm they started an Oldies stream at wtry.com that took over their live stream and it's all automated. I went searching on other Clear Channel owned Xmas stations and not one of them offers an internet stream for their regular format due to xmas music taking over. Could this be a situation like WCBSFM & WJMK where all the oldies move to the internet stream while a format change comes across 98.3fm here in albany ny after Christmas? It's the same way as WCBSFM.COM was at the beginning to with the same on-air limited playlist they currently used on 98.3 with all liners for 98.3. Something may be going on behind closed doors that we don't know about.
