WUSA reduces Get Up DC to half hour and move to afternoon while launching a new 9am hour newscast

Thats a high turnover of a local talk show tho according to FTVLive.
You mean 'newscasts'? Other Tegna stations have had decent sales results with their 9AM version of QVC. Guess that hasn't been the case in the DMV.
One thing that I've questioned, is technically stations who do paid talk shows with featured products or services should be required to call them what they are, long spots.

Did u check their sister stations in Atlanta, Boise, Phoenix, Tampa, Triad NC, Houston, San Antonio, DFW, Louisville, St. Louis, Sacramento, Portland OR, and Seattle?

They local talk/lifestyle shows or 9am newscasts
Sorry, are you asking whether those markets that Tegna has stations are doing a QVC-adjacent 'talk show' at 9AM? The syntax in your response is still fractured.
I can tell you that in Washington, D.C. the answer is yes—same in Seattle and Portland.
