WW1 and NBC Renew NBC News Radio

For all you networkphiles (I know you're out there), WW1 and NBC have renewed their agreement for NBC News Radio, including "Meet The Press."

Would love to know how long the term is, since NBC can go it alone at the end of 2007, assuming the original sale/license agreement from 1987 is still in effect. WW1 is still using "NBC Radio" on "First Light" independent of NBC News Radio.

What I like to know is what progams are made up of NBC News Radio.

You mentioned First Light which they try to keep to make it seem like

that and Meet The Press are under one umberrlla.

The Westwood One website is such a joke when it comes to information

on this network. Why doesen't NBC have a seperate link to it on their

website.

NBC News Radio consists of the one minute news updates, weekdays between
6AM and 10PM ET. One minute of ad inventory per daypart.
WW1 sports. I believe twice during AM Drive and twice during PM drive.
1 minute of ads per sportscast.
WW1 morning entertainment report closed circuit for use in local programming.
On Sundays: Meet The Press is sent over the NBCRN satellite channel, but it's really syndicated and not part of NBC News Radio.
On a second channel, stations can monitor MSNBC for breaking news.
"First Light" is branded "NBC RAdio" but it is not a part of NBC News Radio
and is not delivered on the NBC satellite channel.

With that being said, what makes up the CBS Radio Network ?

Now that is out of the way.

I have another brain teaser.

Does the CBS Radio Network currently comprises of:

CBS Radio News and certain radio vigninetts such as Harry Smith Reporting

Re: With that being said, what makes up the CBS Radio Network ?

You should check WW1's website. It is not user friendly, but most of the programming is there. In addition to the CBS News TOH, :31 (and sometimes :50)
updates, it also has features throughout the day: CBS Healthwatch, Dave Ross,
Harry Smith, Charles Osgood, Pat Carroll (Raising Your Kids), closed circuit
sports and news feeds, a morning closed circuit feed of entertainment reports,
What's In the News.
On the weekend: CBS RAdio News Weekend Roundup, Face The Nation, Sports Central USA (hourly reports), Sports World Roundup.
Also some sports programming is jointly branded CBS/WW1 Sports.
I'm sure I missed some programs.
