Cumulus has announced that Phil Valentine has a new contract.


Cumulus Media signs Nashville radio personality Phil Valentine to a new long-term contract as host of News/Talk WWTN-FM (99.7 SuperTalk)'s "The Phil Valentine Show." The program debuted over 24 years ago and airs weekdays from 3-7pm on WWTN. In addition to his afternoon show, Valentine will work with Cumulus Nashville on a variety of projects, including the development and creation of original content podcasts, and other multimedia projects and events.

The first in a series of podcasts to launch is PodGOATS, hosted by newcomer Campbell Valentine and co-hosted by Phil Valentine (Campbell's father). PodGOATS debuted in February, and is the first podcast from Cumulus Nashville. It's a conversation between a Baby Boomer and a Millennial with discussions on everything from what they would possibly do if the grid went down, to spies, to the top historical events that changed the world to religion. New episodes are available on Wednesdays and Sundays.
