WYSO moves to Dave Chapelle-owned new studios in Yellow Springs

"WYSO Public Radio celebrated the opening of its new studio in the historic former Union School in Yellow Springs after 68 years on the Antioch College campus on Thursday, April 9."

The station was originally owned by Antioch College. The station management bought it from the college in 2019 for about $3 million. This move off campus frees the station from any college responsibilities. It also ensures its stability, especially after the loss of CPB funding.

Chappelle's father was once Antioch College's Dean of Students. Station president Neenah Ellis is married to Noah Adams, former host of NPR's All Things Considered.
