XFM (4185khz) Pirate Shortwave Station heard in Missouri.

Most pirates are on 6925 and in SSB. They can be heard mostly on Friday and Saturday nights beginning around 8PM (Eastern).
And usually they put on a special show on holidays such as Halloween etc.

Where is the station broadcasting from? He mentions area code 408 as their telephone number which would be the San Jose, California area.

Generally speaking, pirates will NEVEr reveal their location and if anyone knows exactly where, its a big no no to reveal that information. pirates will almsot never, as well, reveal the kind of power or antenna their using

Yeah but if they are giving out “clues” as to where they may be located, that’s on them. Just deducing that the signal may be coming from the San Francisco Bay Area when they have a 408 area code. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out where they are broadcasting from. I doubt the FCC is all that concerned about a pirate shortwave radio station that occasionally broadcasts on holidays and weekends.
