Excellent! I just joined the "dark side" last week...and enjoyed
the 1260/KYA re-creation. Hopefully the aircheck audio quality will
be better from the KHJ tapes (not complaining)...<P ID="signature">______________

I heard the salute to WHBQ in Memphis a while back. I wonder if they'll do a salute to WMAK or WKDA in Nashville?

I'm not sure if there's enough material to do a Nashville salute but it would be nice to hear a salute to Nashville.

Listening right now to KHJ on xm 6. Wonderful collection of 60's music and memories. Having great recollections of when these classics came out. Those sound checks are wonderful.
I grew up in New York listening to WABC and WMCA. It would be great if one these stations was saluted. Remember Murray the K on WINS but doubt that air checks exist. I have one of him on WOR-FM interviewing Brian Epstein who managed The Beatles.

Where have you been? WABC was saluted in June and MCA months ago.

For your information, I didn't know that xm 6 was doing this as I normally listen to xm71 and xm73. Now that I know it's a regular feature I plan to listen weekly. That was confirmed by a conversation I had with the host. Only heard of it reading this column.
