Year one of Z 97 and WSYB ownership under "Pam and Al's" Dad...

First of all Jo Jo, it's market #179 not #181 (get it straight OK). Who is bragging about being number one? Your the one who brought up the ratings, I just responded. It seems as though you have something against MIXX. Is there bad blood between Pamal and yourself? Second of all, who did THE GREAT HOUDINI make disappear???
 
Mr. Marbles, you don't even know your own market rank that you boast being number 1 in ?? You should check the "Big Ratings Company" website after you read this post.. That's according to the company you pay big big bucks to twice a year. I think my comments about WJJR are pretty consistant to many other posters on these boards. I think Pamal, from what I know and listen to, does radio pretty good in the markets they operate in. Even their cluster the unrated market of Glens Falls sounds better executed, than in Rutland..

Mr. Marbles. well I do agree with you that it's good to have Z97 have some presence on the mountain. (We hear that's more on the tradio side of the ledger, but you have to start somewhere).. Though the "Official Ski and Ride Station" handle today does not even trip the meter, in comparison to the rich history and true meaning of that great positioning statement.
 
Jo Jo, what is your hang up? "Trip the meter"? "Tradio"? Someone sounds like a used up radio account non-executive :-*

Can this truly be said about the mighty Z? Back in the day all you heard were ski reports, commercials and remotes from all the ski resorts within the ENTIRE listening area...these days even Killington doesn't advertise on the "Official Ski and Ride Station". What happened to the Wobbly Barn remotes EVERY FRIDAY? What happened to all the ski passes they used to give away? The remotes from Stratton? The remotes from all the great ski events? Maybe the oven mitts can be used as ski gloves?

Its not enought to just say it...you gotta be it! It took just one year for Mr. Marbles and the Gilligan crew to make 97.1 dissappear from the mountain...great job HOUDINI! NUFF SAID!
 
And with all of the above being long gone, all that revenue went along with Houdini's disappearing act as well.. But I'm sure the book is O.K.
 
Ah yes...the "book"...the all important book...thats all that matters...as long as the Professor "books" well...all will be well...right Marble Boy? What happens, Jo Jo...if the the book doesn't look good for the "Anti Christ"? What happens is FOX comes up? With little or NO revenue...dare I say...tick tock...tick tock?

One would think that Mr. Marbles has some sort of obsession with THE FOX by his last few threads.. The FOX is only one station out of 6 in the Rutland side of the market, while Mr. Marbles PD's for five out of six in the quasi-monopoly. With the Yankees on WEBK, how about the Mets on Z 97 ? ;D
