Another right-wing talker in our midst, replacing the line-up of brokered shows on 1180:
This is the station that managed to get itself re-located Central PA. Interesting that instead of going with progressive talk, a field they'd have to themselves, they decide to dig even deeper down into the field of right-wing hosts. Maybe management spends too much time with people at the golf course. This would make WFYL the number four (after WPHT, WPNT and WNPV) wing-nut talker. Or maybe the station is still "brokered" and TRN, which distributes Ingraham and Dr. Weiner (Savage) is paying to play.Mikey Klein said:Conservative talkers Laura Ingraham and Michael Savage have a new home in the burbs. Starting Monday, WFYL-AM (1180) signs on as News Talk 1180, a Fox News affiliate, from the grounds of the Jeffersonville Golf Club near Norristown. Programming starts at 7 a.m. with the local Barry Papiernik and picks up at 9 a.m. with two hours of Ingraham, last heard here on WNTP-AM (990). Savage will be heard from noon to 3 p.m. The station streams at www.1180wfyl.com (There is still no word of a new home in Philadelphia for Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck.)
