Your Chance to be a part of History...

The more I think about this, the more it looks like a hoax.

Hope it's not but:
Why do this in December?
If you want to be scientific,do it in July like she did.

The most research has been done by the historical aircraft group
TIGHAR (not mentioned in the link).
They have done about 40 years of privately funded research.

Their theory is that after missing or overflying Howland island
(the rising sun was in her eyes) Noonan set a course south to
uninhabited Gardner island.

Noonan was no slouch, held a merchant marine captain's rating,
was a first rate navigator who taught it for Pan Am but was let
go for drinking too much.

There was a report from a high school girl in Florida (TIGHAR has
her notes) who claimed she heard Earhart on daddy's Zenith
Stratosphere console...Zenith didn't make many,it was like triple
conversion,as good as any comm. receiver.
For more,see:

(Loads of good radio stuff.)

Earhart books have probably been profitable second only to
UFO ones,historically.

She was probably eaten by voracious crabs on the island - the plane probably slipped off the reefs into the depths. End of story. There is no point spending further money on this project. There is about as much potential of proving anything as there is of finding MH370. Waste of money.

Americans abhor an unsolved mystery. Especially one involving a national hero - which she was at the time of her disappearance. That is why the search for Amelia Earhart will continue until a reasonable explanation is published.
