Z-100 should Simulcast on 106.3 WHCY-FM in Blairstown

Z100 should simulcast on 106.3 WHCY-FM in Blairstown, they'll have Elvis Duran in the morning for those who commute from Sussex & Warren Counties and once they enter Route 23 in West Milford, they can switch back on to Z100 and still have their morning show and their music. The other stations in the Sussex Market are fine. 106.3 has been a trainwreck.

Max used to simulcast Elvis Duran but CC pulled it in 2008. 106.3 used to be their own CHR as well.

If you knew how well that station bills, you wouldn't be saying that.

It billed less than $30 k a month last year, and is in the Aloha Trust group of stations that may be sold off.

Was not aware it was in the trust. They spinning it?

Press should acquire WHCY 106.3 and WKOE 106.7, two underperforming stations in NJ. Then they could expand their Hit 106 brand to cover every square inch of NJ.

They have been trying to spin it for 2 years. They started simulcasting music outside of the AM show since 2007.

I get it - kind of like that "Y-107" country trimulcast a few years back...

I use to listen to Max when it was a CHR station with Elvis and the Zoo on in the morning... that use to make my commutes to and from Binghamton a little easier... from mile marker 24 on I-80 in Jersey, through the Delaware Water Gap and onto I-380 in the Poconos in PA... I can't stand Rocky and Sue on KRZ - decent show, but her voice grinds at me... now I just have iphone apps for my favs and play whichever (including my own stations) anywhere LOL... though I'm still not use to hearing myself and not being there... creeps me out!
