WZLX KARLSON

Today was the first day back for co-hosts Pete McKenzie and Heather Ford. At moments, they had trouble holding it together, but did a great first show back. Pete and Heather discussed the events that happened the morning of Kevin Karlson's death during the show this morning, which can be heard through their show podcast on the WZLX website toward the beginning of Part 2 of today's show. A sad loss for radio.

So will this be mostly talk or what ?

Too bad about Pete McKenzie and Heather Ford, they almost made it to 20 years here.

Not thrilled with what passes for "Classic Rock " on WZLX.
It would be nice if they revamped their playlist a bit.
Purged stuff like Billy Joel and such.

Very disappointed in both 'ZLX ("classic rock") and 'ROR ("classic hits"). I find both stations unlistenable.

Are you talking about the music? That's not what this thread is about.

WZLX is investing its money in hiring Rich Shertenlieb, because they believe that's who people in Boston want to hear.

I was picking up on a comment made by freqlost about "not (being) thrilled with what passes for "Classic Rock" on WZLX".

Of course, what station owners BELIEVE has to be right. 🙄
