This would be the last ABC show that WTXF would pick up. :( Having WPVI and WNEP from Scranton where I lived at the time, and both airing news at noon, I was hoping WTXF would pick up "Match Game" when it premiered in July but they went with more "What's Happening!" instead.

I think it was but the listing didn't say.

By this time, TV Guide was listing all infomercials either as "Paid Programming" or "Commercial Programs", so it can go either way.

Channel 57 was resting I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, Beverly hillbillies, Honeymooners, All In The Family. They had just been reposessed by creditors late in 1989 and Grant Broadcasting folded losing their 3 stations at the time. Creditors took ownership unde the name Combined Broadcasting. THEN, they sold 2 of the stations to UPN's Paramount division (rather than United) selling their weakest station to Univision in Chicago and selling the programming to the station losing Univision programs. Channel 57 eventually became owned by CBS in buyout deals in 2001.

Lucy and Andy weren't seen again on WGBS until late 1991 I think. Of course Andy ran on there until 1999 and Lucy until 2001.
I don't ever remember seeing Beverly Hillbillies on WGBS because I was born in 1988 so it was probably on there before my time.
Honeymooners I remember it was on there until like 2003 I think. All in the Family until probably around 2005.
Does anyone know if Archie Bunker's Place was ever in reruns in Philly prior to running on WPSG from September 1998 to October 2000?

"Dionne and Friends" was a short-lived music and variety series hosted by Dionne Warwick. It was not related in any way to the Psychic Friends Network.
