Bobby Hartin

Charleston is one of the worst places to listen to local sports talk in the nation. No local show besides Bobby Hartin, who only knows college football, basketball, and the Braves.

I wish there was another alternative. We had WSPO. But Apex didn't put that much thought into it, especially putting on Paul Finebaum.

Tonight, they are supposed to air the All-Star game, but instead they have been playing an MRN promo feed since 8pm.

Florence, a metro a quarter the size of Charleston, has more local sports talk than Charleston.

mrn had technical issues tonight. unless someone who could do something about it was listening you heard the promo feed on stations that are automated. mrn is usually top notch but blew this one

Charleston has no pro sports or major-college sports. What would a "local sports" show talk about? High school sports?

Or are you suggesting a local show that discusses national topics? In that case, I'm with you.
