finally, Wired 96.5-HD2 updated its playlist

The dance formatted WRDW-HD-2 finally updated its playlist, playing new dance music. For the past several months, it had been recycling songs from early 2012.

Now that they've updated the playlist, I hope they stream so that people can actually hear it. It can be the best dance station in the world, but no one's going to listen if it doesn't stream. I can only enjoy it dropout-free within 15 miles of Philly, and I can only hear it from my location 55 miles away with a rooftop antenna.

Nick, I can get WRDW's HD2 fairly reliably here in Toms River, and I don't have a fancy setup ..
All I have is an antenna wire taped up the wall, partly on the ceiling ..
Guess, lucky for me, it's facing the right way .. LOL

I commute to/from the Philly area to the coastal Ocean County nearly every day; I get 96.5 HD2 reliably in my car up to just east of the Ocean County border (Woodland Twp./ Barnegat Twp. border).

I still get the signal in & out as far east as the Garden State Parkway (Manahawkin).

Well, it seems like 96.5-HD2 has never updated its playlist since 2013. I haven't heard a song newer than 2013.
They play four Geico commercials in a row at :24 past the hour. Yes, the only commercial is for Geico. Seems like the commercials are updated though.

I hope they stream so that people can actually hear it.

As good as it could be I doubt that any broadcaster will pay the royalties and fees to webcast a secondary HD channel unless the channel itself is making money.

They play four Geico commercials in a row at :24 past the hour. Yes, the only commercial is for Geico. Seems like the commercials are updated though.

I noticed the four CBS owned stations are airing those annoying 5 in a row Geico commercials, that is why I stopped listening to WOGL-HD-2 the 70's, after four songs they load those commercials, this is non stop. Also WXTU-HD-2/3, WIP-HD-3 and WOGL HD-2 air them besides 96.5, before that it was the two females talking about the Sparc HD radio which wasn't too bad, at least it was promoting HD. This is sure a turnoff to anyone trying to get into HD radio. I Heart, Greater Media and WBEB-Inc do not air any commercials on their HD sides. The two wasted CBS sides are Amp's HD-3, I hear Philly and WOGL's HD-4 non stop Phillies, is it that hard to throw some cheap music format on those, and please not another foreign language waste clogging up the sides.
