I think WHJJ showed poor taste in doing this to Helen Glover, letting her go right after her show at 10:00 today without no advance notice. She won the AP Award for best talk show for 4 years and had a loyal following. Maybe not the high ratings, but WHJJ's ratings issues in my opinion are not due solely to Helen. And no offense to Ron St Pierre who is a good talk show host, but I just don't think replacing him for Helen will greatly improve WHJJ's ratings. Too many people have made a habit of tuning in to WPRO and do not want to change - probably the same reason that WLNE-TV does not get high ratings no matter how good their news product is, it's all due to people's habits and tradition of staying with what they are familiar with doing.
