Eagle up, Arrow down. The new Bull doesn't seem to be making a dent in 93Q's 2 point lead. Good little spike for KUHF, up nearly a point. KAMA slides below a 2. Maybe something else in store for 104.9? Univision has proven this signal is capable of being a winner with Party a couple years ago. I'd like to see them launch a "Beat" styled format such as their offering in San Antonio on KAMA. With The Box consistently number 1, you'd have to think going head to head with them again would have to Garner something better than a 1.8.
Finally, I certainly hope the billing is good at KGOW. Those "N/A" columns are becoming quite frequent.

Eagle up, Arrow down.

The Eagle is playing better music from a larger playlist. Even a smattering of real oldies. Imagine that? Darn I hate it when I am right. Their musical beds in the morning have oldies, they announcers talk nostalgically about rock and roll history from the 60's and 70's. Best yet - it has been a LONG time since I have heard the desperately burned out "Hotel California". A few years ago, it seemed like that was every other song. Great song I suppose, but the Eagle didn't just burn it out - they exploded it with a nuclear warhead, hit it with an asteroid, did the mother of all bombs, then burned it with a wildfire they played it into the ground so often. A devoted Eagle fanatic who has it on all the time says the same thing about 30 or 40 songs they used to rotate heavily.

I'm actually listening to the Eagle now that the music is better, with more variety - along with the point, and 107.5 HD-2. Those three channels make up a nice little programming block.

KHMX is also down. Might be a victim of too much musical overlap with similar stations.

The Eagle appears to be pulling significantly away from the Arrow, which is pretty stale after 20 years.

KBXX ratings are slowly slipping I bet in the next 6 months they will be 3 or 4 in the rattings I am so glad there ratings are finally slipping time for a classic rap hiphop station

To paraphrase the author, when you have an 8 share, you're not quibbling over a few tenths of a point. At that level, .3 isn't slipping, it's a wobble.

The tight playlist is what's hurting KHMX (Mix 96-5) . anyone else agree?

Indeed! It has the rotation of an old top 40 these days. Is it just me or does Sunny sound like it picked up where Mix left off? Just waiting for KODA to add the liner "More variety, a better mix. Mix..er uh..Sunny 99.1."
96.5, excuse me 96-5, needs an identity. Flanking KKHH might be good enough to hold KRBE from overtaking Hot ratings wise, but it has destroyed what once was a pretty darn good hot AC.
