Changes At Columbus Radion Group (Saga)

After four years morning show host MARK DANTZER is no longer with the company reports Radio Insight on Friday.

Also JOE KELLY to APD/MD for All of Sags's Columbus stations.WSNY Sunny 95, Mix 107.9 WVMX and the REWIND twins 103.5/104.3.
 
Columbus RADION group? Did Saga change their name?
Is this the same Joe Kelly that did mornings on Kiss-FM & worked at WNCI in the 90s?
Sad to see Mark Dantzer go. I did catch part of his last show on Thursday morning. I hope he'll land on his feet somewhere on the dial. Why did they let him go? IIRC, his first week with Saga was the last week of March 2009.

Did Dantzer give any farewells on the final show...if he knew it was his last, that is? I'm likewise sorry to see him go, but to be brutally honest that 20+ year old Dantzer YouTube someone linked to several months back showed how much better he sounded in the past. And I do have to say that the Saga stations are sounding better than ever since Jimmy Steele took over the programming reins a couple months ago. Like you, I'm also wondering if this Joe Kelly is the same one that was at WNCI.

It is also the same Joe Kelly that worked at 92X back in the day to get his feet wet on weekends. His dad was the infamous Uncle Joe Cunningham who received fame in Akron radio and finished up his career at WMNI/Columbus. He also did a gig in Wheeling after 92X.
