WHJJ Is Now "NewsRadio 920"

They can rebrand but until they have an actual news department, I don't think WPRO-AM 630 has anything to worry about.
 
There's a bit of irony here. WPRO used to be branded as "News Radio 630 WPRO". Also if you look at the on-air lineup, Coast to Coast AM, Ron St. Pierre and Rush Limbaugh were all once on WPRO in the same time slots that they are in now on WHJJ.
 
Now would be an excellent time for 920 to turn the HD back on and sound good again! Nice bright audio!
 
Just took a peek at the new website. The first thing that pops up? "Ultimate Twerking Fail" Video. Now THAT'S news!

Quite a long fall from the WJAR days, when there were morning and afternoon news blocks.
 
Some so called NEWS RADIO station on Monday while everyone else was all over the shootings in Washington WHJJ NEWSRADIO 920 was airing the same ole boring stuff.
Not for nothing, Ron talking to himself and rambling on and on and into taped news,traffic and weather is a huge insult to what he is capable of. I hope they have better plans for that morning show.

And......they've given up the pretense that it's a "talk" show. Not once in the times I've tuned in has Ron given out the phone number. So obviously, Ron is quite satisfied with the idea of hearing his own voice for 4 hours a day. If Steve White were alive to see this......it would kill him......LOL......LOL......LOL.
