Magic 98.3 is in HD?

nd2023

Banned
I heard IBOC on 98.1 and 98.5 and my HD radio said "HD-1" on Magic 98.3. No call letters and no decode.
This sucks, no more WOGL in central NJ.

I tuned in last night on my Sony XDR-S3HD and I only got analog + RDS from WMGQ. Maybe you were picking up the HD from some other station on 98.3? In DX conditions, it is possible. I have heard the HD signal from 99.5 WJBR in Delaware take over the channel while local WBAI was coming in loud and clear in analog.

Same with me on the XDR-S3HD, only for WKXW, as there is a local pirate station 5 miles or less away from me on 101.5, but after 5 seconds, WKXW's HD turns on and locks, so I hear WKXW not the pirate.

I normally get WZXL loud and clear but on a lot of mornings I get WLEV's HD signal taking over the channel. When I switch to "analog only" I get WZXL loud and clear again.
