New Urban AC coming to Gainesville, Florida!!!!

New Urban AC coming to the Gainesville/Ocala market..a new 25k watt station on 97.7FM targeting audiences 35-64 African American.
 
Good for that region down there. It'll be the first time Gainesville has a pure urban station (albeit ac leaning) given that they lost a broadbased urban ever since WTMG Magic 101.3 went the rhythmic direction a few years back.

OMG, Magic 101.3 sounds horrible since they went Rhythmic. I remember them being a great hometown Urban station years ago.

Jacksonville has four urban choices with one or two more for urban gospel, so they're better off. Sadly for the rest of Florida, urban radio has went to the pits for the past two years.
