Boston Radio Question from Ireland

Hey folks,

I work in radio here in Dublin. I'm involved in a non-radio, tech start-up that has a huge tie-in with radio. The company is going to base itself in Boston and launch in the coming months and part of my job is to try to understand the radio market in Boston, particularly radio that college students would listen to (as opposed to college radio, per se).

I realise this is a ridiculously broad topic to try to get a handle on but if there are any resources online that I could be pointed towards, I'd really appreciate that. Also, if anyone has the time/interest in giving me an overview themselves, feel free! :)

Not sure of a clearing house for the information you seek ... but a couple outlets that would draw that age group:

1. Evolution 101.7 (available on iHeart).
2. Radio BDC (streaming only, through Boston.com).
 
Dave, one resource you might find useful is my "NorthEast Radio Watch" column. I've been covering the radio industry in Boston since 1994, and I spent quite a few years working in the business there, too. Depending on how much back reading you feel like doing, there's 19 years of archived columns now available at http://www.fybush.com.

(I also had the pleasure of spending some time in Dublin a few years back and greatly enjoyed the radio scene there, 98fm included!)
