95.9 isn't a translator, it's a pirate who just leaves the antenna on now after playing Spanish Religious for a couple months. Someone should turn it off if it won't broadcast any music!

As for 106.7 it's no translator either, it's an LP FM.


You guys have it lucky, tons of radio choices. Here in San Antonio we only have a few translators and some of those aren't even broadcasting right now.
 
All the translators are doing is getting in the way of San antonio stations to me.
 
Now if the translators here in SA played good music I'd be all in favor. But many are just boring or else stuff I'm not a huge fan of.
 
Translators Are A Nuisance There No Help To Anyone They Only Are There To Block Good Signals I Think Austin Has Run Out Of Ideas!!

Get ready for another translator in Austin. Mary Lopez has been granted a construction permit for 107.5. She also owns the 93.3 translator in San Antonio.

Isn't the Lopez family all connected, they all own those two signals as well as a bunch in Corpus Christi?

Yeah, the website is www.peoplewillradio.org if you wanna listen online LOL.
There are two 94.3 stations there last time I was up I heard them anyway. One 94.3 farther south plays Spanish Christian with WAY too much high-end sound on their EQ.
The other is People Will Radio (formerly KPWR) AKA that fledgling distorted community channel that always seems to have audio problems.
 
Actually 94.3 PeopleWillRadio is off the air (or at least seems to be), I'm in Austin again and I couldn't receive it earlier.





And wow... 95.9 (pirate) is indeed still broadcasting no audio! How long are the people going to leave it up like that? If you're gonna run a pirate station at least put music on it... The website still plays music and is fine but the station isn't up with any sound at all, just the carrier. www.vidaaustin.com
Maybe their engineer quit?
