Classic TV shows moving to Antenna TV in Fall 2013

According to Wikipedia, the following classic TV shows (all currently on This TV) will be coming to This' future "sister" network Antenna TV:

1. Mr. Ed (1961-66)
2. The Patty Duke Show (1963-66)
3. Green Acres (1965-71)

Since Tribune created Antenna TV and will acquire half of This in less than a month, I gotta wonder: Will the two networks air these shows concurrently? Or will they all air exclusively on Antenna TV?
 
I would not rely on Wikipedia for information about future TV programming if I were in your position.

Well, This TV has to have 3 hours of E/I programming to keep the FCC happy, but outside of that, going to all movies while now sister network Antenna TV loads up on sitcoms (and "Flipper"). seems logical and plausible.
 
Another interesting detail:

Antenna TV will retain the half hour "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" late nights at 2 a.m. (2 episodes), while Me-TV will air "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour" weeknights at...2 a.m.

Technically/officially "AHP" and the "AH Hour" are considered different shows, but in reality, the "AH Hour" was a continuation of "AHP" only expanded to an hour.
 
If Antenna is picking up all of This's classic TV shows, I still hope they'll eventually get The (original) Outer Limits.

Picking up Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie sounds good, but they've pushed Alfred Hitchcock, Burns and Allen, and Jack Benny back by 2 hours.

Weeknight prime time has gone to being all Norman Lear Shows, the only one of which I really like is Sanford and Son. But at least sunday nights look better with Bewitched, Jeannie, Barney Miller, and WKRP.

I wish Antenna would do something like Svengoolie with horror and Sci-fi movies on Saturday nights like Me TV does.

And I'm definitely glad they're dropping The Nanny and Married with Children, which I've always thought were too new for the type channel they're doing.

Over all though the scheule looks better, especially late nights and weekends, which is usually when I get to watch. :)
 
Eight hours of poorly made, highly forgettable, bland movies on Saturday night seems a big mistake. I'd much rather see some type of theme. MeTV does a campy sci-fi block. Maybe some hourlong medical dramas (Trapper John, Medical Center, Quincy) or westerns or serials or something unique. Anything is better than the 1-star movies that have been glutting the weeknights lately.

I agree that the movies on Saturday nights are the biggest waste of time on Antenna's schedule. They could either do a sci-fi/horror block of movies or at least show repeats of shows from earlier in the week. But at least they aren't filling the time with reality shows or infomercials. :rolleyes:

RTV used to air a cheesy horror movie hosted by some guy called Wolfman Mac. Just like Svengoolie, he was actually more entertaining that the movie sometimes. We used to get RTV but it was replaced by Antenna.
