Two things

KISS 108 has been around for a long time. Now with "Amp 103.3", and "HOT 96.9" playing simular music, I'd hate to see "KISS 108" end. I mean, look what happened in New York City, "KISS 98.7" changed to "ESPN Radio". Till this day it still sound strange to hear (example) "Yankees call on 98.7 ESPN Radio"
So with that said, Two things that can make "KISS 108" better. Two things (maybe more) but for now, two things that will make them better.
-One-
-Put "Open House Party" on Saturday Nights 7pm-Midnight (Unitedstations.com). Put it on 7pm-Midnight
-Two-
-Put "Club Kane" on Sunday nights 7pm-Midnight (Premrad.com)

-Three-
-Put someone on (LIVE) and local 10am-3pm such as Joe Public. Put Romeo on (LIVE)and local, and Jackson Blue on live and local at 7pm. Disregard all Voicetracking. Put (all) radio hosts on (LIVE) and local. Maybe the Voicetracking can be overnights. Other than that, put all hosts on LIVE and local

-Four-
Put "Billy Costa's Top 30 Countdown" on Saturday mornings 9am-Noon.

***What "Jamn 94.5" should do is change to "Bloomberg Radio" just put that on, and disregard "Jamn 94.5"*** Have the current hosts do local news updates at the top of the hour, 24/7. That's how the current hosts can stay. Maybe keep Romero, but the rest, change to "Bloomberg Radio"

anyways

This is how "KISS 108" can be better

I'd hate to see them go bye bye

If they do like this, they will last a long time

Good day

I can't picture CC putting Bloomberg on 94.5; it would have been like putting Talk 1200 on FM. It's brokered talk, appealing to "the top 1 per cent of the top 1 per cent". Yes it gets them some money but they prob do better with music, though who knows. The wealthy folks in their fancy cars might like 1200 as it is and maybe they have HD radio to hear it on 94.5-2, but I can't picture CC putting the
_brokered_ Bloomberg on FM. Maybe they could go after the country audience WKLB has (Greater Media) and do a country format ; could be risky but KLB has done very well lately. Then again the 94.5 signal is more urban centered than KLB (Waltham?)

The Yanks are moving to 101.9 btw I think (CBS, WFAN-FM) not ESPN 98.7 (CC)

WEPN-FM isn't CC, it's owned by Emmis and operated under long-term lease by ESPN.

And, sheesh, Bob...instead of rushing to post every second, it really wouldn't kill you to do just a tiny shred of research on your own every once in a while. Yes, WKLB is licensed to Waltham, while WJMN is licensed to Boston - but as even Radio-Locator can tell you, their transmitters are located in neither place. 102.5 transmits from the channel 4 tower in Needham, and 94.5 is on the "FM 128" tower just down the street in Newton. Their signals are almost precisely identical.

This thread's got a lot of life...

I think the Kiss Top 30 is already on from 9 to noon on Saturday mornings (and again Sunday evenings). I agree with live and local, although Kiss doesn't need all the syndication on Saturday and Sunday nights. I believe it's "Club Kiss" that's on Saturday nights that's more club/dance oriented. While John Garabedian is local, that show's time has come and gone.

Truth is, Kiss is still the top 40 station that's on top, and Jam'n, AMP, and Hot are milling around the 3s.

Here is the reality in regards to 94.5 and it has nothing to do with Bloomberg. Mark my words, country will be coming to 94.5. I don't know the EXACT time frame but it will happen. Jamn will most likely end up on 101.7 as they won't want to entirely kill the brand.

No supper? At work and munching a tuna sandwich and drinking a root beer; listening to Sox playoff and noticing 98.5 plugging C's preaseason game via facebook

Scott's right and country 94.5? Why not...ugh Rays just tied Sox...crowd deafening.
Good point Scott and yes I'll renew my subcription..let's hope this shutdown does get settled so FCC can catch up on work.

I will mark your words...but seeing as you are anonymous and are not putting anything behind your words, your words carry no weight.

OK, here's John Stossell's Federal Gummint elimination list: the Agriculture Department, the Education Department, the FCC and the Post Office. Still like Fox?

Ah well I disagree with him; FCC definitely needed and a post office dept. is in the Constitution. I wouldn't agree with everyone on Fox...may not agree with Bob Beckel or Juan Williams...tho maybe would on certain issues.

The problem with KISS 108 is that they are owned by iHeartMedia and they don't air ANYTHING AT ALL that isn't made by Premiere Networks. It really makes me angry. Now with Jackson Blue gone and at competitor HOT 96.9 WBQT, it's safe to say that KISS has lost the true touch that is used to have since the uprising of Open House Party with John Garabedian on Saturday nights. It was super frustrating to see the ORIGINAL station of Open House Party, KISS 108 drop the show after so long. With no station in Boston airing OHP, and the closest being WHYA (Y101 Cape Cod) which is owned by John Garabedian, Boston has no real party on Saturdays.

WPRO gets a good signal occasionally into NH, and can come in crystal clear in Metrowest and South of Boston. No party?

Ahem, before we warm up the water too much, letʼs keep in mind that this thread was revived yesterday from 2013 (I was ready to ask where Mr.*Calvin/Lauroʼs been hiding and why RaccoonRadio would think 94.5 should go country when same owner iHR/CC already tore apart and rebuilt 101.7 [and why Scott didnʼt point that out]....But then realized... P=)
