I don't know if I need to hear Oedipus in 2013 and I've found him insufferable but he gets a lifetime pass for being one of the first DJs to play punk in Boston and his "Demimonde" show on WTBS (later WMBR) was must-listening back then.

PS... Oedi is now 64 years old!
 
Oedipus should be on sunday nights. Oedipus in the morning just aint right.

Well Saturday morning is just really late Friday night. I caught the show, He did a great job and played excellent music. I heard a few bands that I looked up afterward. His knowledge of the material was something you don't hear much anymore. I am out of market and didn't get to hear him on BCN back in the day but I really enjoyed his show and will return next week.
