75K sounds like a deal to me. Those small towns, especially in that part of the USA, tend to be pretty supportive of their local stations. I could see them capable of doing about 25k a month in a few years if they do school sports and take an active part in the community. The outlying areas can mean revenue as well plus with any luck you might get a little agency money if you can get a local wheel to do a little squeaking up the corporate ladder. I won't be easy but I'm rather try there than a big town. Nobody gets that. If you're in a city of 250,000 that revenue is split among all the stations but in a small town like this, chances are you are it, so you get the whole pie, albeit a much smaller pie but many times that pie is as big or bigger than the slice you get in the city. The illusion is the sky is the limit in the city while there's a low cloud in the small town. Still the amount below the cloud is substantial and easier to get, more like picking fruit at ground level versus climbing the ladder to fetch the perfect apple on that high branch.
