What is the set of towers I always see going west on I-20 before approaching downtown close to Moreland and I-20?
You are correct that 860 and 1100 diplex from a site right on I-20 just west of Flat Shoals Rd. But I think he's referring to the 3 high towers just west of Moreland. The one that sits by itself is WXIA-TV. The tall one with the black antenna near the top was the original Channel 30/WPBA-TV tower until the digital conversion. It has housed and still does house the antennas of WSB-FM, WVEE-FM and WSTR-FM (the black fixture) and, at the very top, WABE-FM. The shorter tower next to it is WPBA-TV.
Thanks guys! I frequent the Starlite Six Drive In and Zoo Atlanta quite often and always see it when I turn onto Moreland Avenue/Hill Street exits. I can see the Fish Stick and WPLO from my backyard.

Actually, the towers west of Moreland Ave. consist of a smaill cell site tower and the big one I assume is also a cell site tower. I say this because the WXIA-TV, WPBA-TV, WABE-FM, WSB-FM, WVEE-FM, & WSTR-FM transmitters are all located just south of the intersection at DeKalb Ave. & Clifton Rd.

As for WFSH-FM The FISH, its transmitter is still in Loganville on the same tower All News 106.7 WYAY-FM is on.

As for WPLO (which is licensed in Grayson), its transmitter is located just east of downtown Lawrenceville.

Anyway, that is all.
There's one correction I would like to make. The big tower is a combination of both a cell site tower and a TV transmitter. The TV transmitter transmits the signal of a LPTV station. The station being WYGA-LD 16. It's an affiliate to a Mexican-based Spanish-language television Network known as Mexicanal. More information can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WYGA-LD, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexicanal, and at http://www.mexicanal.com/. As for the smaller tower, it's considered to be a second cell site tower in addition to the big combined cell site/TV tower. That is all.
