I'm sorry I gotta be like this but, this voicetracked Nessa chick is TERRIBLE! When identifying the station, she shouts EV-ery FIRST SYLlable, "...on the NEW! ....POW-er! ...NINE-ty! ....SIX! ....ONE! Anyone know if she'll keep voice-tracking evenings permanently or will Power eventually get another live local talent? MADDOX should really go back to evenings! Put this chick on from 10a - Noon instead. What were they thinking?

Any thoughts?
 
Nessa sounds forced and unnatural to me. She has a "manufactured" sound often associated with Clear Channel CHRs. I prefer the more mass CHR sound of Cumulus' Adam Bomb.
 
The ratings speak for itself and it is most likely they continue the downward trend. Enjoy your last Jingle Ball, Power 96.1 You really know how to run a true 'Top-40' station. Now please bring Adult Hits.

P.S. When do radio stations but a club/mix show on Sunday nights? Seems like Power does now according to their website. They are really getting themselves confused, here. Whose the PD over there anyway?
 
It seems like the CC branded faster running music has stopped. The music is running at normal speed lately. I'm glad. I prefer it to run at normal speed.

"Club 961" is an EDM mixshow which is totally wanted in ATL. A mixshow on a Sunday night here in ATL is perfectly fine versus Premium Choice syndication. It would be nice if POWER had mixshow every night!!!!

The Nessa voice tracking scenario is a hot mess! The callers sound so fake and everyone is calling from Midtown or Buckhead, yeah right!

Agreed! I can't believe they got rid of Mami Chula and Moved Maddox. They should have put her in afternoons and Maddox at night! There is nothing local about Power and the playlist is the same thing over and over and over.
