Another Loss For Progressive Talk in the NW

KLAY has dropped Stephanie Miller. They never knew what to do with her show anyway. At first, they were airing her show from 9 to noon, then they moved it to 6 am to 9.

No. KLAY is moderate with hosts from both sides....

Their signal sucked, barely audible south of Lakewood when they were still in critical hours with other stations at that time. KMAS does carry Thom Hartmann live and has a better null with 10k watts during the day. I think a lot of local stations are doing the all-things to all- people programming. Not only does KMAS carry Hartmann but also Alex Jones at night and KGY is carrying a mix of conservative and "progressive" talkers like Dennis Miller and Ed Schultz.

KMAS and KGY seem to be filling the void of the ex-KPTK, which is great! But their signals suck especially KGY. Can barely hear KGY north of Tacoma, and too far - KWYZ splatter takes over, or KKDZ's HD.
