The Neil Rogers Show

Received around 300 tapes last weekend, mostly Neil shows, along with some Rick n Suds, and Randi Rhodes. Planning on getting 1 or 2 shows a day uploaded. They will be on YouTube and available for download, see the list on http://neilrogers.org/

We are in the process to move the archived shows from 4shared, which requires you to sign up for an account to d/l files, to MEGA where you do not have to sign up to get the files.

Thank You Neil Fan! Your efforts are appreciated by the tens of thousands of Neil Rogers fans in South Florida. I'm sure WQAM and WIOD miss his high ratings and revenue. Unbelievable! Re-runs anyone?

Always good to hear from a Neil fan. We are still looking for the 1998 digital shows, please help spread the good word of Neil.

Neil was the greatest! I didn't even know he had retired, had multiple heart attacks and died. In 1998 and 1999 I was new to Miami and a regular caller. Neil must have had me on 50 times. Only hung up on me once on a day he was playing Music as I mentioned Barry Manilow. First I think he threw up on me! I also enjoyed his WAMI TV. Nobody could operate dual 360 Shortcuts like Neil did!

Neil more fired than retired.

We have, I think, all of the 1999 shows. Really need some more 1998 shows.

Thanks for calling

Don't say that to the Beasleys. They'll tell you he became a "consultant" for the station.

Howard Stern was talking about Neil Rogers the other day on his SiriusXM satellite show. He mentioned how much he admired Neil's work, and they were discussing putting him on the Howard 101, and that he'd fit right in..but then he died.

I know this is an old thread but didn't want to start a new one. Does anyone have the April 9, 2009 show This was never put on the site as an mp3 file because they were having problems with the stream that day.

Does anyone know who the hell that Paco character was that Neil was taking care of during his last years? I heard he left him all the money and didn't give any to Jorge. What a shame. Neil was a crazy queen in the end. Poor guy.

Neil must have given Paco money before he died because the IRS came a knockin' after Neil's death and took everything; Neil didn't pay taxes for a few years.

We don't have that show. Do not know of anyone who was recording the shows after they were available for download. This must have been on that Eric was not able to repair. If you find a copy please let us know via neilrogers.org

It is a long sad story. Neil's friend Dave Hine posted it in the Neil Facebook group. Neil cashed in his retirement accounts, and failed to pay the taxes. The f'ing kid did get lots of he money. Neil changed his will many times, the final one had Dave, and Neil's friend, John, who lived in Neil's Florida house as the heirs. Dave did save all the pictures, and other Neil memorabilia including a baseball game on tape that Neil did back in 1982.

I hope Neil's wish went his way at the end. But it's sad Jorge was left out.
Glad we carry on with www.SoFloTelevision.com and SoFloRadio
