1640AM - Vallejo

KBJA, KDZR and KDIA are the 3 1640s caught here in WA. Been looking for KOAG and WTNI for a while but no dice.

I live in NE IL. I can DX Radio Disney on 1640 AM, day or night. The entire frequency is clear and the reception isn't bad. The affiliate I speak of is out of Racine, WI. Just some low power traveler information stations here and there. Unfortunately, boring WVON on 1690, but that is further up the dial.

Sussex, (near Waukesha about 15 miles west of Milwaukee) actually, but it went silent about a month ago.

Which now is a great time to try at sunrise or sunset for either SS music (KBJA), Radio Disney (KDZR), or Christian talk (KDIA).

In my travels, I've heard KDIA up and down the coast from Seatle to San Diego and various points in between. And yes, the Milwaukee area radio Disney on 1640...along with its lousy audio...is now silent.

Not any more. They came back tonight with a different music format with lots of frequent ID's ....It's suggested they are "stunting".
