KYW ratings

Perhaps, their format is stale and needs revamping. Perhaps to include the CBS NEWS on the hour newscasts 24/7 and 60 minutes.
 
My theory is, KYW is suffering from the fact that there are now only two legit commercial operations on AM in Philly anymore, KYW and sister WPHT, and the second one is barely there.

When people spend less time with AM in general, even the good AM stations are going to suffer.
 
KYW lost 29,400 in the latest cume. I don't like what's happening to the station.
 
That's why so many established all news stations moved to FM. People now under 50 never grew up listening to AM & never go there. People under 30 or so get their news online. The fake teletype sound means nothing but an annoyance to them.
