Glenn Beck returning to The Big Talker ???

This morning during the Chris Stigall show, I heard a commercial with Dom Giordano. I'm paraphrasing, but Dom said something to the effect of, "As you know, Rush and Sean Hannity are back with WPHT. Join me tomorrow at 9:35 am for another big announcement".

Obviously we won't know for sure until Dom makes the announcement tomorrow, but I'm thinking Glenn's coming back!

and if 1210 doesn't air Beck live if that's what they are going to announce, then they might as well change the format.

according to a reliable source, that's not the case. it will be an announcement about Some holiday-related promotion.
 
Funny how here & elsewhere you can tell the people who abandoned 1210 last year because they still call it 'the big talker' which they dropped when they went to the local talk format. If Beck were coming back on the air why would he be investing in this localized web version of his show?
 
According to the Blaze, Glenn WON'T be back at WPHT.

I posted my theory on the IQ 106 Facebook pages, and 'TheBlaze Radio Network' replied to me with the following: "Nope. Glenn Beck's new home in Philly is TheBlaze Philly. Listen for FREE theblaze.com/Philly"

So...internet radio. (SIGH). That's fine for when I'm at work, but I guess I can't hear Glenn in the car without streaming through my phone which means higher data usage which means I'll more likely listen to Dom :(

I respect Glenn's independent spirit, but he does make it hard to listen to him.

I abandoned 1210 when they dumped Sean and Glenn to stroke Smercy's ego waaaay back in 2010. I refused to listen to the station out of principle. I streamed all my radio through my phone from Cities 92.9FM - The News & Talk Of Bloomington Normal, IL. I've been doing that again recently during my afternoon drive since Sean isn't on live anymore (YET! -- I'm betting he will be once again when Dick Morris's contract expires)
 
920 AM Trenton is running announcements they are switching to conservative talk programming Nov. 1 with Beck's show & others. The religious format will stay on now-simulcast 1040 AM Flemington. Assume that confirms Beck will not be on 1210. 920 was talk as WTTM in the 1990's. They tried an all local talk format and had 2 regular callers, both sounded 'older', a man from Levittown who always sounded drunk and a man from Roslyn, Montgomery County - not quite the target audience they wanted. So when WCHR 94.5 dropped religion for oldies they picked up the format & were also ESPN for a time.
 
I really hope Beck doesn't get back on PHT. I understand having Rush and Hannity. I don't agree with their politics but they have staying power and obviously are a better option business wise. Beck is just nuts though. Out of control crazy. Keep him on internet radio.
