Curious about your presets.

AM:
1-WGIR-610 (for Hannity in So. NH)
2-WRKO-680 (for Howie only)
3-WCAP-980 (local programming and talk during the day...good station to stop on while scanning)
4-WBZ-1030 (one of only a couple of places left for local news.)
5-WQOM-1060 (OK...let's say I am curious about "Catholic radio"..and what it's all about. Daytime only)
5- WCCM-1110 (Michael Graham show in So. NH. Daytime only)

FM 1:
1-WBUR-90.9 (The only other choice for news. conversational talk-radio, no yelling.)
2-WBMX-104.1 - AC
3-WBOQ-104.9 (one of the only places to get "oldies"..or whatever they are called now)
4-WROR (I hear an interesting blast form the past on occasion)
5-WMJX-106.7 - AC
6-WXKS-107.9 (I swing by this station to see if any new songs interest me...)

FM 2: (no favorites, just stations to have and occasionally scan)
1-WGBH-89.7 (checking out the new "news format" here...and I'm often disappointed. Jim and Marjorie, while engaging and lively, often disappoint me for their lack of depth.)

3-WBZ-FM - Sports (I won't listen to the dopes/idiots on EEI)
4-WKLB-102.5 -Country
5-WODS-103.3 - New stuff, rhythm
6-WZLX-100.7 - Classics..but usually the rock is too hard

FM 2 (for visits to family in Boston area, other presets are Connecticut):

1. WUMB 91.9 Americana/AAA
2. WERS 88.9 AAA
3. 88.3 for old-fashioned, super-high-power, now-illegal, can-hear-it-across-the-parking-lot XM modulator
4. WBZ-FM 98.5 Sports
5. WBOQ 104.9 Classic hits (may change this to WZLX 100.7 on my next visit since playlist has changed to standard-issue, burnt-to-a-crisp hits)
6. WCRB 99.5 Classical

Five out of nine have WUFC in their presets. Any further proof needed that this forum's posters are not representative of the Boston radio audience as a whole?

1030: WBZ (for local news once in a blue moon)
1250: WARE Real Oldies, great local oldies show with huge playlist.

1520 empty since the 3,000,000th sports station has come on the air on the east coast.

AM 740 gets most of my AM time in the car

FM:
89.7 WGBH
90.5 WICN
90.9 WBUR
91.3 WCUW
91.9 WUMB
100.1 WWFX
100.7 WZLX
105.7 WROR

WGBH gets most of my listening time in the car in my non-satellite car

The majority of my time listening in my newer car is to XM radio though I must add.

hi, you prob mean 740 out of Toronto (Zoomer Radio), not Montreal, which was coming in quite well tonight along I-89 in NH.
Mont has a 730 but no 740.

680, 1030, 1200, 89.7, 90.9, 93.7, 98.5, 100.7, but I mostly don't use any but 680, 1030, 93.7 and 98.5.

A year or two back my car's battery was disconnected for a few days and the presets were lost, so I used the auto-find feature for presets and took a few trips up & down both dials. Boy, radio sure is lousy compared to what it used to be. I ended up deleting all but the above.

I actually preset the AM only, the FM presets are spaced in spots so I can twiddle up and down. The Am includes nobody local, but things like WINS, KYW, WHAM, WGY and WTIC for quick reference when traveling
