Absolutely! In the prior decades it began with a track an hour after Thanksgiving, then 2 tracks an hour and the week of Chrisitmas about 4 cuts an hour. Then, if the sales people were really successful you went all Christmas music after the morning show Christmas Eve or at least by 6pm and by 6pm at the latest on Christmas Day you never heard a Christmas song until the next year. Now it is overkill. By time Christmas starts to get reasonable close you just want it to be over because you're so sick of it. If merchants would clear out the Halloween aisles for Christmas lights, trees, etc. two weeks in to October I think I'd look forward to it more. It must work, though. Merchants keep going earlier and so does radio so I must be in the minority.
