Maybe that is where the Monkey's cousin is headed!

have u heard of anything since there rating r so low

Actually, they have some impressive numbers in PM Drive in 18-34. While the weeklies are not released to the press, they appear to be trending to be the #1 or #2 Spanish language young adult station in that daypart.

Ok students guess the yearly format switch.

Oldie76 says "regional mexican"

David says "tropical music"

I say Hot AC
as they have tried almost every Spanish format known to man.

I haven't said "tropical" as there is no such thing as a successful tropical station in Southwestern markets.

There are two distinct possibilities:

1. Expand the very high-rated PM drive music and mixes to all day.
2. Become regional Mexican with the apparently displaced "El Mandríl" show.

With the cancellation of the morning show from Mexico City, something is happening.

Here's Boston's ratings for WEDX
http://ratings.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/arb013

I couldn't find anything for W228BY 93.5 FM in Miami since its a translator on WHYI-FM-HD2

How about EDM? How did it work out in Boston?

Totally different scenario. GRC is not going to run a station in English, but they are currently running a station where all the music is in English but targeted at Hispanic listeners. The only issue here is what kind of English language music mix might be appropriate... and perhaps a more EDM focused blend might do better than the less rhythmic mix they have had in most dayparts up to now.

If it had any ratings, it would show under WHYI-HD-2 in Nielsen, as Nielsen lists the "parent station" in such cases. In fact, it has gotten a 0.3 share in 12+ for the last 4 books.
