With the direction my musical tastes have gone! Thanks to me tuning into and exclusively listening to KMVA Hot 97.5 in Phoenix (for the past month or two) as a result of getting bored of the other big CHR stations around, I've very much gotten into the Pop/Rock and Triple A sound.

Just to name a few, here are some of my current favorite songs out right now:

Out of my league - Fitz & The Tantrums

As far as "Let her go" by Passenger, I don't know if I like that song, mainly because of something that's going on in my life right now. It came out at the wrong time (for me). "Sail" by Awolnation is growing on me, but I doubt it will end up in my phone or mp3 player. I almost liked "True love" by P!NK but cannot stand hearing it for the same reason "Let her go" by Passenger bothers me.

Well, I'm no longer the huge 101.5 KZON fan that I used to be, although I still tune in to them and others occasionally.

By the way, what format, exactly, would you say this is?:

Funny how much changes in a year! My board name, Hot 97.5's format, my girlfriend's mental health, her home location on the map, and soon, my relationship status.

I remember how things were exactly a year ago from now. I also remember the KMVA format and many of those songs having a special meaning that marked and represented that time of my life. It was the station my girl and I shared!

She's hearing and talking to voices as I type this right now...
I told her to get help and she refuses. I want her to say something before I give up on her. She never has much to say.
I wish I could just close my eyes and make it seem like nothing has changed at all.
The relationship is turning into a monster, but I've got a little bit longer.

Ironic how all these songs came out RIGHT AFTER she and I got together... almost like it was a sign of things to come.

Well... I guess I have to catch my flight to sail back home and let her go...

At least, in the end, we have this post to remember everything by :confused:


PS: "real love" by Clean Bandit better not become a big hit in the US because that was the last song we shared (by accident). I guess I screwed up and played Nico & Vins "in your arms" while she laid in my arms two days ago as we watched YouTube. Other than that, I avoided sharing any other modern music with her that I knew I would want (or have) to hear after I left her, due to the fact that I knew I was probably going to end the relationship (and I only streamed U.K. stations, which is where Clean Bandit "real love" kept playing...). Before I came to see her and give things one last chance, I told her she was my Black Widow Baby.

Hopefully someday she will make friends with the voices inside of her head.
Schizophrenia is no joke, even if it's on the lighter end of the spectrum or in the early developmental stages.

Sorry to make light of a serious situation. It was the first thing that popped in my head after reading that.
