The window is now closed but the FCC hasn't released any of the data into CDBS yet. I expect that to happen any day now & I'll bet we'll see plenty of talk then!
O.K., I am a long time North Florida broadcaster but have been on the beach for a while. I have been operating an Internet station and filed for an LPFM on the first day of the window. Now it's back to a waiting game, hoping and praying to not get deadlocked in a MX situation..
Just found mine. It's sweet news indeed. If things work out, I hope to have this station on the air, by this time next year. Read where a Church here in Selma, was fishing for their own LPFM station. Good thing is, their station and mine will be on two different spots and we won't have to share time.
That's great. You have wanted this for a long time and seem to have plenty of passion for it. You are a good candidate to make it work. Congrats - hope you do well and enjoy it.
I did one for my son's school. There is one competing application but they don't measure up on the point system. In fact, they state they came into existence two days before the filing deadline.
