KLYY a ratings monster.

wow KLYY is plowing through the competition, like a hot knife through butter, they went from a 6.5 overall rating in August, to a whopping 9.2 overall this month, which means they are number 1 in the 25 to 49 year old slot, but where else have they improved their numbers? they cant just be getting a 9.2 overall rating just in the 25 to 49 year old slot.

any answers, pretty soon they will be pulling double digits like KIIS FM did in the mid 80's.

I kind of doubt that given that KLYY is an Inland Empire station, albeit it does get to some areas of LA well, I think.

KLYY has been pulling that kind of numbers ever since they switched to Spanish adult hits in mid-2008. They tend to bounce quite a bit, as is true with KRQB, the other major local Spanish language format. Their core is 25-54, but the do well in all the 25+ demo cells.

For example, in June of 2010 they had a 10 share in 25-54.

Big City Broadcasting who owned the three 107.1s was the only investment I have ever made. This was around 2000.

I plunked down $1000, Big City had BIG plans hiring a top morning man who couldn't have done worse and the stock fell to $400
