How is 96.3FM R&B doing?

Why can't San Antonio have a r&b station but Austin can?

Its been a couple of months, hoping it is at least pulling a 1 share.

It's doubtful. It's a station with no promo budget, no extensive live and local talent and a play list that suited to 55-64 women or adults who like Steve Harvey. They are programming the station remotely so it's basically a juke box with the slowest tempo'd playlist I've ever heard. The station is a placeholder in the market, a computer in a room, and knowing the Entercom folks, they have no plans for it, so enjoy it while it's here. This is not a station that is poised to do much in the market.

It's getting a bit over a 2.2 share in 12+ and a tick under a 2 in 18-49 and 25-54. It's definitely a nice addition to the cluster numbers for Entercom. with 45 rated stations in the book, coming in with a rank that is almost 15th on an HD-3 plus a translator is a very nice achievement.

106.7 would make a great candidate for that. I love their Old School Saturday night. I listen to it on my Sony Walkman cell phone. I also scored a MP3 pocket recorder from Hong Kong on Ebay for $17. I can hook it up and record on the go, provided I forward all my calls to voicemail.

Not bad numbers for a station with such low overhead.

Can't Wait For Them Move To 95.9 Im Looking Forward To See What Giddings Does With 96.3

Another station is fixing to launch east of Austin on 96.3 so they want to move to fix the interference issues.
