Wow! I didn't think I would ever see Radio Discussions come back online. I will say this. It's nice to see it back. :)

I'm dropping in, but I don't know if I'll stay. In the last couple of months I've found sites I like better. I've also found that I've wasted a lot less time on line, which has allowed me to get a few things done. We'll see.
 
Yeah I'm still here... Although I find other boards to be more fun now. :p
 
I didn't have a lot of luck finding these other boards of which you speak. Same for the alleged Facebook groups.
 
I didn't even know all these other sites were out there. I had searched around after radio discussions shut down and the only thing I had found was something over at satelliteguys.us but it wasn't the same. I'll have to register on those other sites as well. Thanks for the heads up.
 
Hey Chuck I saw you were a mod over at radio-talk.net I tried to register an account but it keeps saying an error occurred and won't let me register. Is there something wrong with registrations right now or is it just something I am doing wrong?
 
Well Infamous I had the same problem. What I did was contact an admin who was able to turn off some anti-spam stuff for me to get in, then turn it back on.
I was using Firefox when I did it, I'm not sure what browser you're using but try another? Either way I'm sure you'll be able to get in, and no it isn't just you.

I'm not the gate-keeper over there, but I'll tell the person who is. Registration is pretty simple, or at least is is supposed to be. Maybe there is a problem. Funny, I had trouble logging in here today although it worked fine yesterday. When you go to the Radio-Talk site, the first five times you visit you have to suffer through the Captcha" nightmare. After five posts, it is supposed to decide you are OK and let you in without it. Nobody liked having to put that stuff in place, but the spam problem is rampant. We tried taking it down for 24 hours and I got to remove about 200 spam post that were something to the effect "Hot teenage Ukrainian girls want your credit card number."

Give it a try again. They just made a change that hopefully will help.

No unfortunately it's still not letting me register. I've tried with 3 different browsers and even off my phone. I still keep getting "An Error Has Occurred!" message after submitting the registration info and password.
 
Well I don't know why Radio-Talk is giving so much trouble. I assume they're using a faulty anti-spam filter.
In the meantime though RadioInsight should work for you. It's about the same, many people from RadioDiscussions use that too, me included. In fact I think more people use RadioInsight, not to put Radio-Talk down or anything though, it's got a lot of cool people.

I don't know why it isn't letting you register. Perhaps you need to clear your cookies or clear browsing history.
 
In my opinion Radio-Talk should have a contact link up on the site for people who can't register to contact the admins. I looked but I couldn't find one.

Infamous go to RadioInsight for now.
I think I sent you a PM the other day with a link. As for RadioTalk I'm pretty sure you can get it straightened out soon if one of us finds a way to flag down the keymaster. I just had to send him a PM on another board to get my account up.
