WGNX 46 in Atlanta, GA

Didn't WSB have Solid Gold before WGNX (now WGCL)? Our two Atlanta TV "historians" may back me up on that.

In Alaska: KTTU (now KATN) in Fairbanks aired the show briefly in the early '80s; dunno about Anchorage (I think KTUU and later KTBY).

I think all of the Cox-owned stations at the time carried Solid Gold when it launched. Solid Gold was part of "Operation Prime Time", which was more or less a joint between Paramount Television and Cox Broadcasting; Entertainment Tonight was also part of that.

As far as station listings, in Chicago, the majority of Solid Gold's run was on WGN-TV; in Los Angeles (there's promos on YouTube and FuzzyMemories.com to back that up), I don't ever recall the show airing on KHJ (now KCAL)...I believe (and I'm almost 100% certain) it aired on KCOP for its entire run. In Pittsburgh, WIIC/WPXI (another Cox-owned station) aired Solid Gold.
