I think both of them should be fired immediately. There are plenty of good radio people looking for work. I recommend they hire Randy Davis.

Radio seems to have forgotten how a morning show can be entertaining without being offensive. Klavan & Finch of our long lost WNEW had an excellent morning show for decades. Joe O'Brien did likewise on WMCA. If you wanted something more straitlaced with a heavy dose of news and information, you could listen to John Gambling (the father of the one who just retired) on WOR. But the "shock jocks" and those who emulate them have turned the morning radio dial into a river of filth.

Don't blame "radio" for two minor market jocks. They have to take responsibility for themselves.

These two are NOT "shock jocks." This is supposed to be a family AC station.

Two problems with that:
1) Randy Davis is doing fill-in at WCBSFM - where he was before (seems to be thriving there....PD Ryan's been using him more and more)
2) Why are you indicting Steve and Leeana for just the ONE mistake (yes, I read the article the other day)? These guys have had a LONG track record with K983 - and should NOT be fired on just the ONE error!
